Shay MacDonald is an experienced culinary professional with over 25 years in the industry. Currently serving as Area Manager at Performance Foodservice since October 2022 and as Business Development Specialist at Halperns' Steak & Seafood since October 2021, Shay has a proven track record of fostering partnerships with chefs and restaurant owners to drive business success. Prior roles include Sales Consultant at Sysco, Chef/Owner of a self-employed venture, Executive Chef at HoM Burger Boutique, and various chef positions at Seabrook Island Club and green gables restaurant. Shay began culinary training at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where a degree in Culinary Arts was pursued.
