Leny Werkhoven

Leny Werkhoven is the current Director of Operations at Halt. Leny has previous experience working in a variety of positions in both the public and private sector.

Werkhoven started their career in 1978 working for the Ministerie van Defensie. Leny then moved to the Ministerie van Justitie in 1995, where they worked their way up to Programmamanager. In 2006, they left the public sector to become the Directeur Centrale Bedrijfsvoering at the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek.

In 2012, Werkhoven returned to the public sector as the Directeur Concernzaken/Concerncontroller at Provincie Zuid-Holland. Leny held this position until 2015 when they became the Divisiehoofd Bedrijfsvoering tvs. Adjunct directeur at Nederlands Forensisch Instituut. Leny remained in this role until 2017.

Werkhoven has been with Halt since September 2017.

Leny Werkhoven studied Bestuurskunde at the Open Universiteit and HEAO at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Leny also attended Comenius Leergangen.
