Gale Curry

Gale Curry is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Halter since October 2024, previously serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Woven by Toyota from July 2021 to October 2024, focusing on self-driving technology within the Level 5 division. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer for Lyft in the Autonomous Vehicle Division from May 2019 to July 2021, and as a Robotics Software Engineer at Knightscope from January 2017 to April 2019, where development involved robotics software in ROS. An internship at NASA involved programming autonomous drones, and earlier experience at Kubota included mechanical engineering tasks. Gale holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UCLA.
