Teemu Turunen

Teemu Turunen has a strong background in mechanics design and engineering. Teemu started their career at Nokia in 1998 as an Engineer in Mechanics Design, responsible for specifying and designing parts and assemblies. Teemu worked their way up to become a Senior Engineer, where they continued to focus on mechanics design and manufacturability. Turunen then took on roles as a Project Manager, Stream Leader, and Manager in the Mechanics group, where they were responsible for objective setting, performance evaluation, coaching, and managing sub-streams and sub-projects. In 2011, they became the Head of Mechanics, overseeing all mechanics development activities and leading a team of approximately 40 people. Turunen joined Haltian Oy in 2013, initially as a Senior Specialist and then transitioning to the role of Head of HW in May 2018.

Teemu Turunen attended North-Karelia Polytechnic from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. Teemu'sfield of study was Plastics and Machine Engineering.
