Marco Glühmann has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Marco started their career at Arthur Andersen as a Consultant in 2002 before moving to d-fine GmbH as a Senior Consultant. In 2005, they joined DG HYP as a Senior Marktrisiko Controller and later became the Leiter Kreditrisiko Controlling. In 2008, they joined HSH Nordbank as the Leiter Product Validation before assuming the roles of Leiter Risk Methods and Leiter Strategische Risikosteuerung. In 2017, they joined Hamburg Commercial Bank as the Leiter Non-Financial & Model Risk Management and is currently serving as the Head of Model & Product Validation.
Marco Glühmann has an extensive education history. Marco earned a Dr.rer.nat degree in Physics from the University of Hamburg from 1998 to 2001. Marco then pursued a Master of Science - MS in Mathematical Finance from the University of Oxford between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, Marco completed a Diplom degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from FernUniversität in Hagen from 1998 to 2002. Marco also holds a Diplom degree in Physics from the University of Hamburg, which they obtained from 1992 to 1998. Additionally, they completed a Maitrise degree in Physics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III in 1995 and 1996.
