Matthias Bornemann

Matthias Bornemann is an experienced professional in risk management and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. Currently serving as a Senior Risk Manager and Senior ESG Manager at Hamburg Commercial Bank since November 2008, Matthias has established a strong expertise in managing risks and promoting sustainable practices within the financial sector. Prior experience includes a role as Risk Manager at Volkswagen Financial Services from April 2008 to October 2008, and as a Senior Associate in Financial Services at PwC from September 2005 to March 2008. Matthias began career training at Kreissparkasse Wesermünde-Hadeln from August 1997 to March 2000.
