Lars Wegener

Lars Wegener currently serves as the Head of Digital & Media at HSV since July 2023. Previously, Lars held various positions at HSV Fußball AG from July 2011 to June 2023, including Stellv. Leitung Kommunikation & Medien and Stellv. Pressesprecher. Lars's career at HSV began in July 2008 as a Redakteur for HSV.de/HSV-TV. Before joining HSV, Lars worked as a Freier Journalist from January 2006 to June 2008 and contributed as a Freier Mitarbeiter at 4 Young Sports from January 2005 to January 2006. Earlier experience includes a role as an International Customer Service Manager at Beiersdorf from July 1998 to December 1999. Lars Wegener holds a Diplom in Sportwissenschaften with a specialization in Medien & Journalistik from the University of Hamburg, earned between 2000 and 2006, and is an Industriekaufmann, having completed training at Beiersdorf AG from 1995 to 1998.
