Päivi Raukko

Päivi Raukko has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Päivi served as the Head of Education, Sport and Culture at Hämeenlinnan kaupunki - The City of Hämeenlinna from June 2017, and prior to that, they held the position of Director of Service Provision (Education, Culture, Health, Social Services) at the same organization from August 2008 to May 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Planning Officer at Hämeenlinnan kaupunki from January 2008 to August 2008.

Outside of their role at Hämeenlinnan kaupunki, Raukko served as a Board Member at Hämeen Sanomat from 2007 to April 2017. Päivi also has experience in the private sector, having worked as the Chief Executive Officer at Social Development Ltd from January 2012 to August 2012, and as a Development Director at the same company from August 2002 to July 2008.

Raukko's career initially started at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMK, where they worked as a Research and Development Coordinator, Study Programme Coordinator, and Teacher from August 1997 to July 2002.

Päivi Raukko holds a MSc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku. In addition, they have obtained the Kuntajohdon KJ-sertifikaatti from the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities (Kuntaliitto) in May 2016.
