Natalie Haysom

Natalie Haysom (nee Palmer) currently serves as the Head of Corporate Communication and Change at Hamilton City Council, a position held since February 2024. Previously, Natalie has held various leadership roles in communication and marketing, including Director at Studio Major since August 2022, and Communication and Marketing Manager at Te Pūkenga from July 2021 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing communications for a unified education system in New Zealand. Natalie's extensive experience includes serving as Communication and Engagement Manager at Hamilton City Council from 2018 to 2021, Manager of Communication and Engagement at Waipa District Council from 2014 to 2018, and multiple communication roles in local councils, demonstrating expertise in strategic communication, community engagement, and brand management. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from The University of Waikato.
