Simone van Asbeck

Simone van Asbeck has extensive experience in communications and engagement, currently serving as the Communication and Engagement Manager for Growth at Hamilton City Council since August 2019. Prior roles include positions at Waipa District Council and Network Communication, where Simone held titles such as Senior Communication Advisor and Senior Account Executive. Additional experience includes roles at Represent Management & Word of Mouth, GJ Gardner Homes, and Talento Ltd. Simone is pursuing an Accredited Public Relations (APR) qualification from the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies in Public Relations/Journalism from Auckland University of Technology.
