Erik Jacobson

Erik Jacobson, Ph.D., currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer at Upstate Caring Partners since March 2023 and as a Psychology Department Field Study Instructor at Hamilton College since April 2022. Additionally, Erik operates a private practice providing diagnostic and consultation services for individuals and agencies that work with people with developmental disabilities, a role maintained since 2012. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Clinical Officer and Chief Psychologist at Upstate Cerebral Palsy from 2015 to March 2023, and various positions at The House of the Good Shepherd, Upstate Cerebral Palsy, Just Kids Diagnostic and Treatment Center, and Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. Erik obtained a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina (1997-2003) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University (1993-1996).
