Heather Buchman is a distinguished musician and educator with over two decades of experience at Hamilton College, where the individual serves as a Professor of Music and Director of Orchestra and Chamber Music. Recognized with the Class of 1962 Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2012, Buchman has significantly contributed to the artistic growth of the Hamilton College Orchestra and developed various interdisciplinary programs. In addition, the individual has held positions as a conductor with the Society for New Music and Symphoria, and has experience as a guest conductor with Symphony Syracuse.
