Samantha Scheid

Samantha Scheid is an experienced professional in the biomedical engineering field, currently serving as Applications Team Lead at Hamilton Company since August 2018, where progression from Field Applications Specialist I to II has been achieved. Prior to this role, Samantha worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Human Robotics Lab, focusing on analyzing EMG activity of wrist muscles and conducting data collection and signal processing using MATLAB. Samantha also gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at the University of Delaware, developing a wireless knee angle measurement device and acquiring skills in data evaluation, programming, and electronic design. An extensive background includes building an exoskeleton for children with arm movement impairments and leading chemistry workshops for undergraduates, showcasing teaching and leadership abilities. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering degree from the University of Delaware, completed in 2018.
