Jamie Parris, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Professional Learning and Extended Core at the Hamilton County Department of Education, a role held since August 1999, while also having previously directed high school teaching and learning and secondary math/science. Additionally, Jamie Parris is an adjunct professor at Lee University starting in January 2024 and has been active as the East Representative on the Tennessee National Science Education Leadership Association (TnNSELA) Board since December 2020. Previous roles include involvement with the Achieve Tennessee District Science Network and participation in various committees related to math and science education at the Tennessee Department of Education and Tennessee State Board of Education.
