Lisa Parker

Lisa Parker is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in computer technology and support roles across various educational and nonprofit institutions. Currently serving as a Computer Technician 2 at the Hamilton County Department of Education since October 2018, Lisa specializes in installing and setting up computer systems, peripherals, and software. Previous roles include Network Administrator at The Samaritan Center, where network management and security support were key responsibilities, and Microcomputer Specialist at the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department, focusing on personal computer maintenance within a network environment. Lisa has also contributed as an Adjunct Instructor at Chattanooga College and held several positions at the University of Hartford and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where responsibilities ranged from hardware and software support to network administration and lab management. Lisa holds a Master’s in Educational Technology and a Bachelor’s in Applied Technology from the University of Hartford, along with an Associate’s degree in Information Systems from Chattanooga State Community College.
