John Nelson

John Nelson, MPA, LEED AP ND, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Finance and Operational Support at Hamilton County Job and Family Services since April 2023. Previously, John held the position of Executive Director at Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District from December 2012 to April 2023, where responsibilities included managing public relations and leading the Regional Storm Water Collaborative. Prior to that, John coordinated national and international events for a nonprofit organization, managed IT infrastructure at Temple Baptist College, and developed marketing strategies for technology products in the South Indian film industry. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University and Bachelor's degrees from Temple Baptist College and Bangalore University.
