Andrew Knapp

Andrew Knapp has extensive work experience in communications and academia. Andrew served as the Director of Communications at Hamilton County, Ohio since September 2016. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Cincinnati State starting in August 2015. Andrew also had a long tenure at the Loveland Symmes Fire Department, where they held the position of Deputy Chief and was responsible for managing the 911/Police/Fire/EMS radio network for the City of Loveland and Symmes Township in Ohio from August 1999 to October 2016. Their earlier experience includes working as a Supervisor II at the Hamilton County (Oh) Communications Center from December 1988 to August 1999.

Andrew Knapp attended the University of Cincinnati from 1985 to 1992, but there is no information regarding the degree or field of study. Additionally, they obtained the Ohio Fire Executive certification from the Ohio Fire Chiefs Assn in June 2014.
