J. Denise Smith, RN, BSN, has extensive experience in nursing and healthcare management, currently serving as Clinical Manager Public Health and Nurse Manager at Hamilton County Public Health since March 2016. Additionally, J. Denise Smith holds the positions of Patient Care Manager/Branch Manager at Hospice of Chattanooga since July 2014 and Branch Director at Adoration Hospice of East Tennessee since November 2020. J. Denise Smith has also contributed to education as a Course Instructor at Hamilton County Department of Education since June 2019 and managed nursing operations at Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital since September 2018. Previous roles include Head of the Medical Assistant Department at Chattanooga College Medical Dental Technical Careers and Director of Nursing at Volunteers in Medicine of Chattanooga, showcasing a strong background in direct patient care, chronic disease management, and nursing education.
