Dr. Toby Hamilton has been working in the medical field since 2001, when they began their career as a physician. In 2006, they joined Emerus Holdings, Inc. as a Board Member, eventually becoming the Chief Innovation Officer, Board Member, and CEO, Chairman of the Board and Founder. In 2017, they became the Executive Director of the Healthcare Innovators Professional Society (HIPS). In 2018, they began working at the Texas Medical Center as the Biodesign Program Lead. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Hamilton Health Box.
Dr. Toby Hamilton began their education in 1992 when they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Texas Tech University. Dr. Toby then went on to obtain a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1996. Finally, in 2000, they completed an Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, also receiving a Doctor of Medicine - MD. Dr. Toby has also obtained certifications from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, American College of Emergency Physicians, COLA certified Lab Director, and TMA - Fellow.
