Community-based Research Co-investigator at Hamilton Health Sciences

Catherine H. is a dedicated health researcher currently serving as the Global Food Systems & Policy Senior Research Assistant at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research, where Catherine is co-leading international projects focused on equitable global health partnerships and examining antimicrobial resistance in the food system. Additionally, as a Community-Based Research Co-Investigator at Hamilton Health Sciences, Catherine collaborates with Dr. Orianna Mak to address barriers to care for street-involved youth. Catherine also holds a position as Drop-in and Overnight Service Shift Lead at The HUB Youth Services, providing essential support to individuals facing homelessness and related issues. With previous experience as a graduate teaching assistant in global health at York University and McMaster University, and roles in healthcare consulting and student governance, Catherine brings a strong background in research, education, and community service. Catherine is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Toronto, building on a Master's in Global Health from McMaster University and a Bachelor's in Arts and Science.
