Paul Watson

General Manager - Aviation & Integrated Services at Hamilton Island

Paul Watson serves as the General Manager of Civil Services & Operations at Hamilton Island since July 2009, overseeing key areas such as airport management, transport, public area cleaning, emergency management, security, WH&S, medical services, logistics, and procurement. Additionally, Paul holds the position of Airport and Transport Manager with the Australian Airports Association since November 2016 and acts as the Queensland Director and Deputy Chair on the AAA Board. Previous roles include Airport Operation & Compliance Manager at Sunshine Coast Council from December 2005 to June 2009, and Divisional Services Co-ordinator at Commonwealth Treasury from January 2003 to September 2005. Paul also worked as Group Team Leader at NHS National Services Scotland between 2000 and 2002 and began a career in corporate reservations with Ansett from 1998 to 2000. Paul’s education includes attendance at Hawker College from 1994 to 1996.
