Hamilton Local School District
One of Ohio's most improved school districts over the past decade, Hamilton Local proudly educates more than 3,300 students (grades Pre-K through 12) that reside in the Villages of Obetz and Lockbourne, Hamilton Township, and the towns of Reese and Shadeville in southern Franklin County, Ohio. Teachers, students and district practices and achievements have recently been featured in the media locally, regionally, and nationally. In 2014, Hamilton Local was named the 6th Best Central Ohio Mid-sized Workplace in the Columbus CEO/10TV Top Workplaces program and was highlighted for employee confidence in company direction and leadership. Hamilton Local was the only public school district appearing as a Top Workplace. Our district is also financially sound and operates some of the newest school buildings in the area. If you want to live in an outstanding community or work in one of the area's Top Workplaces, put Hamilton Local School District on your short list.
