Technical Support Engineer at Hamilton Medical

Chris Aaron has extensive work experience in the medical equipment industry. Chris began their career at Avesta Sheffield Ltd as an Electrical Technician, where they worked on maintenance and repairs of process lines and cold rolling mills. Chris then joined Alstom Power Conversion Ltd as a Graduate Trainee Engineer, where they gained valuable experience. Chris went on to work at Converteam as an Applications Engineer, leading projects related to Vessel Dynamic Positioning systems and automation systems for LNG tankers. Chris later joined Alstec Ltd as a Senior Applications Engineer, specializing in electrical control system projects for marine applications. Chris then transitioned to Converteam as a System Engineer, where they designed and implemented industrial automation systems for the metals industry. Chris moved to Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust as a Specialist Medical Engineering Technician, before joining Getinge as a Service Engineer and later as a Ventilation Technical Specialist. In these roles, they provided commissioning, servicing, and repairs for critical care and theater medical equipment, and also served as a technical trainer. Chris is currently working at Hamilton Medical as a Technical Support Engineer.

Chris Aaron has an extensive education history. Chris obtained a BTEC OND in Engineering from Boston College in 1994. Following this, they went on to study at Sheffield Hallam University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a degree in Electronic Systems & Control Engineering (BEng). Chris then pursued further education at Coventry University, completing a PGDip in Informatics and Control from 2004 to 2007. Lastly, they attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained an MSc in Clinical Engineering.
