Mario Lavanga

Mario Lavanga has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Mario is currently working as a Research Engineer at Hamilton Medical since June 2022. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aix-Marseille University from September 2020 to June 2022. Mario also served as a PHD Fellow at KU Leuven in 2016 and as a PHD Fellow - Strategic basic research at Research Foundation Flanders - FWO from January 2017 to September 2020. During their time at FWO, their primary research focus was on stress quantification in preterm infants using EEG and ECG processing. Mario'sgoal was to investigate the impact of stress on the patient's neurodevelopment, learning, and social cognition.

- From 2005 to 2010, they attended Liceo Scientifico Ettore Majorana in Rho, where they earned a High School diploma in Italian Scientific Lyceum, with a focus on Mathematics.
