Stefan Eggenschwiler

Stefan Eggenschwiler has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and digitalization. Stefan recently joined Hamilton Medical as a Product Owner and Tech Lead Cloud, where they are responsible for building new digital products as part of the company's innovation and digitalization team. Prior to this, Stefan worked at WSAudiology as the VP of Enterprise Architecture, Strategy & Innovation, where they established the Enterprise Architecture discipline and solidified the DevOps practice. Stefan also connected specialists across the company to enhance collaboration and achieve common goals. Stefan also held the position of VP of Digitalization & Technology at Sivantos Group, where they played a key role in the company's digitalization efforts. Stefan began their career at Sonova Group as a Senior Architect, Digital Technologies and later took on the role of Head of Global IT Services / AB China IT Project Lead, focusing on Sonova's strategic Asia-Pacific expansion plan. Stefan also gained valuable experience as the IT Director at Advanced Bionics and as a Senior Manager of IT Operations at Phonak, both subsidiaries of Sonova Group. In these positions, they led teams and implemented various IT initiatives, including transforming and integrating AB's global headquarters and establishing a global IT OPS organization. Prior to their roles at Sonova Group, Stefan worked at CDC IT AG as a Systems Specialist & Consultant, specializing in Citrix terminal server farms and client management. Stefan began their career at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a PC/LAN Administrator, responsible for IT infrastructure and end-user support. Throughout their career, Stefan has consistently demonstrated their expertise in IT infrastructure, digitalization, and team leadership.

Stefan Eggenschwiler earned their Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training in Electronics Engineering from GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Stefan then pursued further education at IFA - Höhere Fachschule für Wirtschaft und Informatik and obtained a Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Computer Science from 1999 to 2001.
