Louie Milojevic

Louie Milojevic is an experienced columnist specializing in governance and leadership at The Hamilton Spectator since August 2014. Prior to this role, Milojevic served as an associate professor at the University of Baltimore from January 2014 to December 2022, and held positions as a visiting research fellow at the Institute for Contemporary History in Belgrade (2013-2014) and a doctoral fellow at New York University's Center for the United States and the Cold War (2012-2013). Additional experience includes roles as a teaching assistant at American University (2010-2012), research assistant at The Wilson Center (2010-2011), and founder of Star Heights Capital (2003-2009). Early in the career, Milojevic worked as a student reporter at HCN - Hamilton Community News (2000-2003). Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History with a focus on International Relations and National Security Studies from American University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Diplomacy and Military Studies from Hawaii Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International/Global Studies from the University of Toronto.
