Daniel Ryan

Daniel Ryan is currently the Financial Controller at Hamilton Thorne. Prior to this, they were the Controller at Anokiwave from January 2014 to December 2017. Daniel was responsible for managing the accounting and finance department as well as all financial reporting aspects, including BOD reporting. Under their leadership, the company successfully transitioned from a $2M Service company to a $20M Product company while growing revenue at 70% per year.

In their previous role at Oracle, Daniel served as the Senior Financial Manager from January 2007 to December 2014. During their time there, they were responsible for daily cash management through two rounds of financing, during extreme financial challenges while simultaneously investing in R&D to advance new product development. Daniel also reviewed complex customer contracts, ensuring compliance with Revenue Recognition Policy.

Most recently, Daniel served as the Interim Controller at Institute for Healthcare Improvement / National Patient Safety Foundation from February 2018 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for special project work including due diligence requirements for several potential partners, negotiation of operating and capital leases, transitioning to new financial resource relationships, new audit firm, new payroll service provider and new accounting system.

Daniel Ryan has a Master of Business Administration from Bentley University's McCallum Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
