Alex Focke

Alex Focke is an accomplished athletic leader and coach with extensive experience in higher education sports administration and coaching. Since May 2013, Focke has served as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics at Hamline University, where responsibilities also include serving as the Head Women's Basketball Coach and Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. Prior to this role, Focke was the Head Basketball Coach at Prior Lake High School from May 2010 to May 2013 and gained coaching experience as a Graduate Assistant Basketball Coach at South Dakota State University from June 2007 to June 2009. Academically, Focke holds a Master's degree in Sport Pedagogy from South Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Minnesota.
