Brenda Heim has extensive experience in education and community service. Since July 2009, Brenda has served as a Board Member at Hamline University. Prior to this, Brenda was the Director of the Caring for Kids Initiative at Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners from June 2009 to March 2016, focusing on providing quality early childhood care and education for low-income families. Brenda’s teaching career spanned 20 years at Osseo Area Schools, where Brenda worked as an elementary teacher for grades 1, 3, 4, and 5 from 1977 to 1996. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Education and a Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Education from Hamline University.
