Jim Sermersheim

Jim Sermersheim is a seasoned software architect with over three decades of experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Software Architect at Hammerspace since February 2018, Jim previously held a position as Senior Staff Engineer at Primary Data Inc, where Jim developed DataSphere, a sophisticated storage management system. Jim has held various roles at Western Digital and SanDisk®, including Manager/Technologist and Software Engineering Manager II, focusing on full-stack management applications for storage solutions. Earlier in their career, Jim contributed to identity-related research at Novell and developed QA test automation tools at WordPerfect Corp.
