David Pfaehler

David Pfaehler is the Director of Information Technology at Hammond School since July 2021 and has been a Faculty Member at Midlands Technical College since May 2014, focusing on classroom instruction and academic advising within the Corporate and Continuing Education department. David previously served as the Corporate and Continuing Education Academic Program Director for Computer and Information Technology at the South Carolina Department of Corrections from March 2009 to March 2014, and held the position of Branch Chief of Networking and Telecommunications. Additional roles include Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute, Technology Consultant at Decision Dynamics, Inc., Operations Manager at Document Systems Inc., IT Manager at Blanchard Machinery, and IT Manager at CEE-US. David earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix (2010-2011), a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from the same institution (2005-2009), and an Associate's degree in Computer Technology from Midlands Technical College (1990-1994).
