Phil Austin currently serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney, focusing on palliative care clinical studies since August 2022. Additionally, Phil has been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at HammondCare and an Academic Tutor for the Masters program in Pain Management at the University of Sydney since March 2014 and March 2017, respectively. Phil is also an experienced Osteopath at St Luke's Care, providing treatment and education for chronic pain conditions since May 2019. Previous roles include lecturing at the European School of Osteopathy and working as an Osteopath for British Gymnastics. Phil's background includes military service with the Corps of Royal Engineers and extensive academic accomplishments, including a PhD and a Master’s in Pain Medicine from The University of Edinburgh.
