Jim Leydon has a diverse work experience in communications and public affairs roles. Jim served as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at the Hampden District Attorney's Office, where they promoted public safety, education initiatives, and prevention efforts. Jim also provided strategic support to the office's community outreach unit and guided the awarding of funds to non-profit organizations. Additionally, they worked as the Communications Director for the City of Springfield, Massachusetts, Office of the Mayor, where they emphasized financial, managerial, and cultural revitalization. Jim coordinated press conferences, managed social media presence, and served as the mayor's spokesperson. Moreover, they held the position of Legislative Aide for the State of Massachusetts and Grants Manager for the City of Springfield. Currently, they are an Adjunct Professor at American International College, where they design and develops courses on public relations.
Jim Leydon earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Jim then pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration from American International College, where they studied from 2009 to 2011.
