Director Of Community Safety And Outreach at Hampden District Attorney's Office

Tony Simmons has a diversified work experience spanning over several years in various roles. Tony started as a Residential Counselor at the Center for Human Development (CHD) in 1987 and worked in that capacity until 1992. Tony then transitioned to the Hampden District Attorney's Office, where they served as a Victim/Witness Advocate from 1992 to 1997. Tony then joined the Massachusettes Trial Court as a Probation Officer in the Juvenile Court from 1997 to 2004. Following this, they worked as a Probation Officer in the drug court under Court Services from 2004 to 2005. Currently, Tony holds the role of Director of Community Safety and Outreach at the Hampden District Attorney's Office, which they have been in since 2006.

Tony Simmons attended Sandy’s Secondary School in Sandys Bermuda from 1978 to 1980. Tony then attended Lemoore High School from 1980 to 1983. Later, they attended American International College from 1983 to 1987, where they majored in Sociology/Criminal Justice.
