Tim Diette

Tim Diette currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty and Professor of Economics and Business at Hampden-Sydney College, where responsibilities include leading the College's academic program and overseeing various academic and administrative offices. Prior to this position, Tim Diette held multiple roles at Washington and Lee University, including Professor of Economics, Interim Director of the W&L Shepherd Program, and Senior Advisor to the President for Strategic Analysis, contributing significantly to strategic initiatives and academic administration. Tim Diette also has experience as Executive Director of the Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty and has worked as an economist and financial analyst for various organizations, including the North Carolina Department of Revenue and Wachovia. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a BA in Economics and History from the University of Vermont.
