Ananda Valenzuela

Ananda Valenzuela is a Board Member at Hampshire College. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director at RVC from April 2016 to December 2019. In this role, Ananda oversaw the growth of the organization from $500,000 to $3,000,000 budget in three years. In addition, they ensured healthy supervision and professional development supports for a team that rapidly grew from four to twenty staff, developing an organizational culture that centers joy and integrity.

Before their time at RVC, Ananda served as the Interim Executive Director at Boston Circus Guild from January 2016 to November 2016. Prior to that, they were the Internal Operations & Systems Manager at Third Sector New England from July 2015 to April 2016.

Ananda Valenzuela has a background in business from the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College - The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Ananda also has a degree in Organizational Development and Institutional Ethnography from Hampshire College. In addition, they have several certifications from various organizations, including Third Sector Company, Seattle Office of Arts and Culture, Minds at Work, and Social Transformation Project.
