Gareth Evans is an accomplished Application Portfolio Manager and Delivery Lead at Hampshire County Council since November 2018, overseeing Application Development Teams and managing an extensive portfolio of approximately 250 applications. With experience in implementing agile delivery models and driving continuous improvement, Gareth ensures effective governance and service management across various digital platforms. Prior to Hampshire County Council, Gareth held leadership roles in release management at 1insurer and Ordnance Survey, where responsibilities included managing global release activities and building efficient delivery pipelines. Gareth's early career involved roles ranging from requirements analysis to software configuration management, complemented by a BSc (Hons) in Geography & Environmental Management from Northumbria University.
