Jane Savidge

Jane Savidge has a comprehensive background in library and educational leadership, currently serving as Board Trustee and Chairperson at Hampton Pool Trust since February 2020. Previously, Jane held multiple roles at the University of Southampton from September 2013 to July 2018, including Executive Director of Student Experience (interim), Director of Library Services and Arts Strategy, and University Librarian. From July 2006 to September 2013, Jane was Director of Library & Learning Support Services at the University of Surrey. Additional experience includes Head of Learning and Research Support at Kingston University and Head of Library and Learning Resources at Central Saint Martins College Of Art and Design. Jane began a career in library services at the Victoria and Albert Museum as Chief Cataloguer, National Art Library, from 1990 to 1999. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Librarianship from the University of Sheffield and a Master of Arts in History from Aberystwyth University.
