Michelle Strickland has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Michelle started their career at Ink Farm Shirts and Signs, where they served as an Art Director from June 2012 to June 2014. Later, they worked at The Press and Standard, where they held several positions including Journalist, Senior Graphic Designer, and Advertising Sales. During their time at The Press and Standard, they also managed the graphics department at their sister company, The Manning Times, remotely for a brief period. In 2015, they joined the City of Walterboro, SC as a Tourism Director, a role they held until 2018. After that, they transitioned to Palmetto Rural Telephone Cooperative, Inc. where they worked as a Marketing Coordinator until May 2022. Currently, they serve as the Director of Marketing at Hampton Regional Medical Center in affiliation with MUSC.
Michelle Strickland earned their Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Clemson University, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. Michelle later pursued a Graphic Design Certificate at Trident Technical College from 2010 to 2011.
