Tracie Liguid is an experienced outreach specialist currently working at Hampton Roads Community Health Center since January 2022. Liguid has a diverse background that includes serving as a candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates for District 84, where there was a focus on community engagement and well-being. Previous roles include teaching assistance at Virginia Beach City Public Schools, serving as a permanent substitute teacher, and functioning as a human rights commission liaison for the City of Virginia Beach, promoting diversity and inclusion. Liguid has also coordinated events for Red Hat and worked as a community health education specialist with the Virginia Poverty Law Center, delivering education on the Health Insurance Marketplace. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a concentration in Journalism from James Madison University, alongside studies at George Mason University, Old Dominion University, and Tidewater Community College.

Hampton Roads Community Health Center (HRCHC), formerly known as Portsmouth Community Health Center, Inc., opened its doors as a federally qualified health center on May 14, 1995, in Portsmouth, Virginia, with two doctors, one family nurse practitioner and eleven clinical support and administrative staff. Clinical services include but are not limited to the following: - Treatment for both acute and chronic illnesses such as diabetes, stroke, hypertension, diet and nutrition - Women’s health services - Family planning services - Prenatal care and postpartum visits - Pediatric well baby, immunizations and school and sports physicals - Preventive dental and restorative care for adults and children - Medication Assistance Program for prescription drugs - On site laboratory testing - Case management services
