Katelyn Collins

Katelyn Collins, CPPB, MPA, is an experienced procurement specialist currently working at HRSD since January 2022. Previously, Katelyn held multiple roles at the City of Virginia Beach from October 2011 to January 2022, including procurement specialist and contract specialist, and also served as office manager. Katelyn's early career includes a role as a senior research assistant at Christopher Newport University from 2011 to 2013, focusing on human visual object recognition. Additional experience includes positions as office manager and private duty aid at Becky's Helping Hands and executive assistant at Daniel B. Schein, Ph.D., Esq., Inc. Katelyn holds a Master of Public Administration from Old Dominion University and a BA in Psychology from Christopher Newport University, along with an Associate degree in Psychology from Tidewater Community College.
