Katie Markle has extensive experience in procurement and business analysis, currently serving in multiple roles at HRSD since January 2017, including Business Analyst, Procurement Specialist, and Procurement Coordinator. Responsibilities include advanced administrative and technical support for HRSD’s Procurement Division and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, along with managing the ProCard program. Previously, Katie worked as the Office Manager in the Department of Procurement Services at Old Dominion University, where important duties included overseeing office operations, managing budgets, and facilitating communication with internal and external customers. Additionally, Katie has experience as an Independent Color Street Stylist and has worked in educational roles, including as an Accounting Tutor at Tidewater Community College.
