Mark Feltner

Mark Feltner is an experienced environmental scientist with a career spanning several decades, currently serving at HRSD since July 1994, where responsibilities include managing air quality permits and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations such as the Clean Air Act. Mark has also held leadership positions, notably as President of Virginia Coastal Access Now from June 2006 to May 2014, advocating for public access to Virginia's beaches and waterways. Prior roles include working as a research scientist at RTI International, focusing on air quality regulations, and as an air quality inspector for the State of North Carolina, where Mark conducted inspections of commercial and industrial facilities. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, earned between 1982 and 1987.
