Michael Johnson is an experienced Interceptor Engineer and Interceptor Specialist at HRSD since February 2015, managing capital improvement and operating budget projects, overseeing procurement of services, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders. Prior experience includes a role as Engineering Intern at HRSD, where responsibilities involved assisting with engineering tasks and providing field support, as well as experience as a Technician Assistant for the City of Hampton, supporting traffic control and event coordination. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University, earned between 2011 and 2014.

HRSD returns treated effluent to nature in a way that will continue to nurture our water's delicate ecosystems.
