Steven Poe

Steven Poe, P.E. serves as the Hydraulic Analysis Manager at HRSD since August 2022, responsible for managing the Regional Hydraulic Model, including model calibration and infrastructure sizing analyses. Prior to this role, Steven worked as a Data Scientist and Operations Research Analyst at Naval Safety Command, focusing on project planning and data collection requirements. Steven's extensive experience includes a tenure at the City of Virginia Beach, where roles ranged from Senior Engineer III to Engineer II/III, involving maintenance of hydraulic water models, project management, and developing a risk assessment simulation model. Earlier career positions include Project Engineer at URS Corporation, Assistant Project Manager at Branscome Inc., and Engineering Intern at AES Consulting Engineers. Steven holds a Master of Engineering in Computational Modeling and Simulation Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology, both from Old Dominion University.
