Amy Jordan serves as the Director of Communications & Business Development at Hampton Roads Transit and as the Executive Director of TRAFFIX Commuter Programs, both since February 2023. Previously, Amy held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Hampton Roads Alliance from June 2019 to December 2022 and was the Director of Economic Development for James City County from April 2017 to June 2019. From October 2004 to April 2017, Amy managed redevelopment projects in the City of Hampton, overseeing over $1 billion in investments. Early in the career, Amy served as a Planner for the City of Suffolk and completed an internship in Planning & Economic Development with the City of Newport News. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Public Administration from Regent University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Christopher Newport University.
