Kyle Rutan R.T.(T) serves as the Lead Radiation Therapist at Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute since July 2023, following an eight-year tenure as a Radiation Therapist at Provision Health Partners. Rutan completed a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Radiologic Technology/Science from Upstate Medical University in 2015, preceded by a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology from SUNY Brockport in 2007. Experience includes extensive practical training during radiation therapy studies, accumulating over 1,700 clinical hours in various healthcare facilities, including the Upstate Cancer Center and St. Peter's Cancer Care Center. Proficient in a wide array of radiation therapy equipment, treatment techniques, device fabrication, record and verification systems, and treatment planning software. Prior experience includes roles as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Fitness Specialist, focusing on athletic training and fitness program design.
