Laura Melchiorre

Laura Melchiorre is an experienced medical dosimetrist, currently working at Hampton University Proton Cancer Institute since April 2021. Prior to this role, Laura served as a medical dosimetrist at Associates in Radiation Medicine from January 2019 to March 2021. Laura’s career in medical dosimetry began with an internship at Novant Health, where responsibilities included both medical dosimetry and radiation therapy from July 2015 to July 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as a radiation therapist at Valley Health from July 2012 to March 2015. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Dosimetry from John Patrick University, along with a degree in Radiation Therapy from Virginia Western Community College, completed from 2010 to 2012.
