O'Shan D. Gadsden

O'Shan D. Gadsden, PhD, LPA, currently serves as the Chair and Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology at Hampton University since August 2022. As the CEO of The Adullam Psycho-Spiritual Collective since April 2022, O'Shan leads various initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Norfolk State University and Seton Hall University, alongside teaching and mentoring positions at Morehouse College and the California School of Professional Psychology. O'Shan has a background in clinical practice, having worked as the Director of Training at Reignite Psychological & Consulting Services, and as a Post-Doctoral Clinical Fellow at JFK Behavioral Health Center. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Howard University, an MA in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Metropolitan College of New York.
