Matthew Jackett is an experienced film programmer and writer with a strong background in curating films, panels, and programs for festivals, including a current role as Programmer and Program Manager at Hamptons International Film Festival since May 2019. Matthew has managed screening committees, developed complex festival schedules, and fostered relationships with filmmakers and industry contacts. Previous roles include Writer at StartEngine, where significant successes were achieved in equity crowdfunding, and Tutor/Curriculum Writer at Thinking Caps Group. Matthew has also contributed to multiple film festivals, including serving as Executive Director of the Ivy Film Festival and pitching programs at Vice Media. Educational qualifications include an MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and a BA in Literary Arts and History from Brown University.
